Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is ranked 143rd in the QS World University Rankings 2023, comparable to Chinese universities such as Tongji University (QS Global 212), Harbin Institute of Technology (QS Global 217), and Sun Yat-sen University (QS Global 267).

Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), established in 1969, is the second oldest and one of the most prestigious public universities in Malaysia. Renowned globally for its excellence in medicine, science, and engineering, USM is ranked 143rd in the QS World University Rankings 2023. Its ranking is comparable to leading Chinese universities such as Tongji University (QS Global 212), Harbin Institute of Technology (QS Global 217), and Sun Yat-sen University (QS Global 267).
USM, known as the Garden University of Asia due to its large and beautiful campus, has three campuses: the Main Campus on Penang Island, the Engineering Campus, and the Medical Campus. Program Details
1. Experience a garden-style university environment and take part in courses from Malaysia’s second-ranked institution. The program covers Robotics Intelligence Technology, including topics such as machine learning and intelligent robot control.
2. The core curriculum consists of 16 hours, taught by highly qualified faculty from USM's School of Aeronautics and Astronautics or the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Most faculty members have academic and research backgrounds from leading institutions in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and other top education countries.
3. After completing the course, enjoy a cultural and social tour to Kuala Lumpur to experience local customs and enrich the visit.
4. Upon course completion, participants will receive a certificate from USM’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This certificate can serve as valuable background material for applications to prestigious overseas universities.
Application Requirements
1. Full-time undergraduate or graduate students, aged 18 or above.
2. English Requirements: CET4-550 or higher, CET6-425 or higher, IELTS 5.5 or higher, or pass the program department's oral test. All applicants must pass the oral test, regardless of meeting the language score requirements.
3. Obey the law and consciously maintain the image of the country and the reputation of the school.
